This is not a boring this-button-does-that classroom. It’s a practical course that demonstrates the art behind the technicalities. It’s focused on creating a balanced, visually pleasing output while helping you become an efficient VJ that will be ready to take on any live situation.
We show you how you can make your compositions look slick and balanced, how to plan your performance and organize your content for long shows and how to set up your MIDI controller so you can get into a good flow; ideas to help unlock your creativity as a VJ.

Course Fees
The fee for this 3-day, all-inclusive course is SGD 2500.
The course will be held by our team of professional VJs at our Senses Production Studios.

Basics
This chapter covers the essentials for running a show. Load your content, apply effects and play it on your projector. It also covers basic Resolume terminology and workflow that is used throughout the other chapters.

Compositing
VJ'ing is more than throwing some clips on top each other. A good VJ thinks about where to place content and how to blend it into the overall composition. This way, you can completely change the impact of your output and keep your composition balanced.

Color
Color is one of the basic elements of visual art. This chapter explains the different ways Resolume can handle color and covers some pro tips and tricks to keep your color schemes tight and on point.

Rhythm
If you can count to 4, you can match visuals to music. Music is all about rhythm. This chapter covers all the different ways you can melt the rhythm of the music and your visuals together into one beautiful unified beat.

Performance
So after you have all your content and effects set up just the way you want them, how to keep it fresh for the whole night? This chapter shows you how to use decks to organise your content and set up your compositions to have quick access to what you need, exactly when you need it.
